THE ARTIST
My name is Alick Tsui. Ever since I set foot in this province over 35 years ago, I have chosen to stay, explore and photograph all the beautiful places and things around me. I have great interest in landscape and wild life photography. I have been featured by CBC Newfoundland Labrador TV/radio and VOCM regularly since 2015 on my photography adventures in shooting icebergs, eagles and local festival & events. In 2019 and 2020, I was also invited to talk about photography in Newfoundland on Rogers TV, the Rooms and "Sharing our Culture". In 2021, my photography was also featured by local magazines: Newfoundland Herald and Downhomer Magazine. In May 2021, I was lucky enough to win in the local Newfoundland Herald's NL photo contest. My photos have also appeared numerous times on Newfoundland Historic Sites Association calendars for many years. In 2021, 2022 and 2023 and 2024, I have also been awarded by MusicNL as - "Volunteer of the Year" for photographing local music events. In 2023, I was also awarded the "Voluntary of the Year" by Events Atlantic for documenting the events and festivities in NL. In 2022, I was also humbled to be invited to take photos during the Royal Highnesses Visit to St. John's. I was also invited to Guatemala with Team Broken Earth in 2022 and 2023 to capture many moving moments. www.alicktsuiphotography.com
