A large day for waves with along our shores. This photo was taken on a hiking trail (Silver Mine Path of East Coast Trail) in Middle Cove. These nice comfy red chairs are on the cliff side, giving hikers a front row seat to watch for whales and waves. This day, the waves were so high that everyone got sprayed along the trail every time when the waves hit ashore. These chairs were almost 30 meters above sea level.
