Newfoundland sees a lot of waves all year round. Here is one photo of a massive wave hitting the wharf in Flat Rock, Newfoundland on a beautiful winter day. With huge wave action, it is dangerous to walking or driving near the wharf. Often times, the wharf structure can be damaged when pounded by these huge surfs continuously for hours.
